On Monday, my friend Dave will begin hiking the Appalachian Trail (something that will take roughly six months). When he was in town a couple weeks ago, he informed me he plans on hiking at least part of in a kilt. For more details (or if, as he says, schadenfreude is your thing) follow his tumblr.
